Executive VP, CFO resigns from Covanta Holding Corp.

March 19 -- Mark A. Pytosh, executive vice president and CFO, is resigning from waste-to-energy company Covanta Holding Corp. at the end of this month, the company said today.

Pytosh has accepted the position of CFO of CCS Corp.

Anthony Orlando, Covanta president said, "We appreciate Mark´s significant contributions during the past three years. He helped Covanta grow while strengthening our balance sheet and enhancing our reporting. Now he has another great opportunity and we wish him continued success is his new position."

Tom Bucks, Covanta´s chief accounting officer, will serve as interim CFO until a successor is named.
