Environmental consulting firm expands into western U.S.

March 15 -- Ecology and Environment Inc. is forming Lowham Walsh LLC to expand its consulting services in the western United States.

Lowham Walsh, with offices in Lander and Gillette, Wyoming, offers "special expertise in applied hydrologic science, environmental and engineering analyses," the company said.

The new operation combines the services of Ecology and Environment´s subsidiary Walsh Environmental Scientists & Engineers LLC and Lowham Engineering LLC.

"E & E has been working in the west for nearly four decades, and we recognize the enormous importance of this part of the country for meeting national energy demands. This increased regional presence will enable us to better serve our clients and is a valuable addition to our domestic operations." President and CEO Kevin Neumaier said.
