OfficeMax introduces reusable shipping bin program

March 11 -- Office supply retailer OfficeMax is introducing a new reusable shipping bin program for contract business customers.

The Reusable Bin Program, aimed at reducing corrugated box waste, will use durable polypropylene bins for customers in metro areas that order supplies the most often.

The bins include an advanced bar code system for tracking and are labeled with the OfficeMax logo for identification.

The program will help OfficeMax customers meet sustainability goals, company officials said.

"We´re constantly seeking ways to implement programs that help our customers operate more cost-efficiently and conserve natural resources," said Reuben Slone, EVP of Supply Chain for OfficeMax.

OfficeMax´s contract business customers can learn more by contacting their OfficeMax sales representative or by calling 877-969-OMAX
