Collection bags coded with 6 colors for different recyclables groups
CLEAN WORLD RESOURCES LLC has introduced the CWR Color-Coded Collection Bag for municipal solid waste resource recovery. The bag is being used with Inx-System´s SortMatic MSW-II automatic optical sorter and is fully compatible with SWR´s color-coding system. CWR color-coding uses up to six colors for different recyclable material groups: blue for aluminum, yellow for plastic, brown for newspaper, white for office paper, green for glass, and violet for steel and tin. Black bags are used for commingled waste and orange bags for road and yard waste. Red bags can be used for household hazardous material. The system uses a regular collection bin common for all color-coded bags. Galfab introduces container securement system
Galfab Inc. has introduced the Hooker, a container securement system that works on containers with 6-inch sills and 3-inch cross members. Each hold-on mechanism is welded to the side of the hoist frame below the top of the side rollers at the location desired. All moving parts are greaseable and replaceable, and air pressure of 80 psi will operate the system. The Hooker hold-on mechanism is powered by one double-acting air cylinder with individual springs holding each arm in the hold-on position, according to the company. Ameri-Kart introduces new carts, containers
Ameri-Kart Corp. has introduced six products: the BossKart, the MegaKart, the Smart Dumper, the Poly Box Truck, the Duo Recycler, and the Self-Dumping Hopper. The BossKart, a rotationally molded 96-gallon cart, is designed for automated and semiautomated waste handling. The MegaKart, an injection-molded 96-gallon cart, can be shipped with the lid and rotating latch bar factory installed. The Smart Dumper combines a legal-for-trade weighing unit and a hydraulic cart unloader. The Poly Box Truck is a heavy-duty molded polyethylene container with ¼-inch-thick walls and corners reinforced with metal vertical ribs. Jedstock Inc. has introduced the Jedlock, a secure personal deskside document receptacle.
