Sonoco Products Co. releases financial report for 2009
March 18 -- Sonoco Products Co. is out with its latest annual report, which is available on the company´s Web site at www.sonoco.com.
March 18 -- Sonoco Products Co. is out with its latest annual report, which is available on the company´s Web site at www.sonoco.com.
The report, titled "Lean, Fit and Ready to Grow," reviews the company´s 2009 financial performance and highlights the company´s reduced costs and debts.
"Clearly, 2009 was one of the most difficult, and yet one of the most rewarding years for Sonoco," CEO Harris E. DeLoach Jr. wrote in his letter to shareholders in the report.
Sonoco makes industrial and consumer products and provides packaging services. The company has an extensive recycling operation.
