Curtis Bay Energy takes over medical waste incinerator

Oct. 27 -- Curtis Bay Energy Southeast LLC is taking over a medical waste incinerator in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The company announced the purchase of the incinerator at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.

The facility is expected to convert 10 million pounds of medical waste to energy annually, the company said in a press release.
