Oakleaf Waste Management buys interest in Canadian waste brokerage

Nov. 23 -- Oakleaf Waste Management has purchased an interest in WasteLess Environmental Services, a waste brokerage and waste reduction company in Canada.

WasteLess, a 12-year-old company, conducts waste audits, provides waste management consulting services, and brokers waste hauling services and equipment leases to 300 commercial customers across Canada. The company has offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and Vancouver.

WasteLess co-founder Paul Thiessen will remain as company president and has joined Oakleaf´s advisory board.

Based in East Hartford, Conn., Oakleaf Waste Management is an international waste management services company that arranges outsourced waste management services for retail, restaurant, hotel, manufacturing and property management clients.
