Canadian scrap recycler Matalco Inc. to break ground on Ontario facility

Nov. 22 -- Canada´s largest ferrous and nonferrous metal recycler will break ground on its $55 million aluminum remelt plant Nov. 24 in Brampton, Ontario.

Matalco Inc., a unit of Triple M Metal, will produce primary-quality aluminum billets made from scrap aluminum for North American extruders. The plant will reduce industrial and residential waste destined for landfills using the most environmentally advanced technology available, according to Triple M Metal.

Triple M Metal touts itself as the largest ferrous and nonferrous metal processor in Canada.
