Home Depot to begin carrying Trex recycled decking

WINCHESTER, VA. (April 16) -- Home Depot Inc. will begin selling Trex Company Inc. recycled decking products, Trex officials said April 15.

The agreement expands Trex´s distribution to reach new customers and contractors, said Robert Matheny, Trex chairman and CEO. It also will accelerate the conversion from wood to composite decking, he said.

Trex manufactures decking products made from waste wood and recovered polyethylene. It sells its products through about 90 wholesale distribution locations, which sell Trex decking to about 3,300 U.S. lumberyards.
