Man sleeping in Toronto dumpster narrowly avoids tragedy

A homeless man keeping warm inside a Toronto dumpster narrowly avoided being crushed after the container was dumped into a garbage truck Thursday morning.

The collection worker heard noise coming from inside the truck before the load was compacted, Toronto's City News reported.

The man was rescued and is expected to be OK, the article indicates. He was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
