It´s bracket time for recycling and waste mascots

March 5 — Instead of handing over your money to the guy running your office pool – and never seeing it again – why not make this year different with Waste & Recycling News’ Mascot Madness.


We’ve created a bracket with eight of our favorite mascots from recycling and waste companies and municipalities.


First-round matchups include Waste Management Joe vs. Hawksley from Rocky View County, Alberta; Tulsa’s Mr. Murph vs. Wood Buffalo’s RRRibbitt; Rumpke’s Binny vs. Great Waste’s Paulie G. Waste; and Waste Pro Man vs. Billy the Bottlenose "Dauphin" from Dauphin County, Pa.
