I thought they were going to shoot nuclear waste at the moon ["Consider all solutions," Aug. 16, Page 8]. It seems too costly to do the right thing and be safe and not create it, or if we create it, be able to recycle it.
Nuclear waste poses another big threat if not recycled, and that is the chance of derailment on the way to a nuclear waste site. We already have enough chemical spilled from the toxic chemicals that are transported.
France recycles nuclear waste. Why can´t we — the richest nation on earth?
